St Brelade's Festival of Christian Spirituality
Wednesday 18th - Sunday 22nd September 2013
Inspired by the diverse ways in which the teachings of Jesus shape our world.
Welcome
While our age delights in the spiritual, we should always remember that its expression derives from the Christian faith that has been inspiring and shaping our society for more than 2,000 years. That is why the St Brelade’s Festival seeks to reclaim Mind, Spirit, Soul and Body in a Christian context as an expression of the love of God: glorying in the inspirations that spring from Jesus’ caring message and make up the mystery of God’s eternal love.
At the same time – and mindful of Romans 2:11: “For God shows no partiality” – the Festival also welcomes and celebrates the many different ways, from worship to charitable and caring actions, through which we demonstrate how we live and care for each other and the wider world.
