Communicare Community Centre
Above St Brelade's Bay, lies Quennevais, with the ecumenical church and centre, Communicare.
Used for Ecumenical services and events, and with regular Sunday Worship with the New Life Christian Fellowship, it sits alongside St Bernadette's Roman Catholic Church and not far from the Jersey Synagogue
Communicare has one of the biggest halls for services and meetings in the parish.
Communicare serves the whole community by providing many activities for all ages, from the youngest children to the elderly. It hosts a states sponsored Youth Club with many activities for the local children.
Communicare is a joint partnership of both Anglican and Methodist communities in St. Brelade, and is funded by both faith's, independently of the Parish or States of Jersey, though both contribute as partners with the churches. Should you wish to help/donate to this cause, please contact the manager Mr Tony Hocking on Tel: 01534 744258
The chapel is open and is available for personal prayer whenever the centre is open.
Parking is available outside, and the centre is fully accessible for our disabled worshippers/visitors/users.
Set in the middle of the largest concentration of domestic property in the parish, Communicare is uniquely placed to provide the St Brelade community with many of the caring and social activities it needs. The ethos of the centre is to provide these things in a loving and hospitable manner, with a gentle Christian presence which is clear without being zealous!
The only way to understand it is to get to know it. Our staff and helpers are the nicest people you could ever meet.
