Advent Christingle Service: Sunday 6th December – A Message from Mark and Terri:
Sadly, with the new limits on church service numbers we are not able to hold our Christingle service in Church as planned. We are really sad that we can’t all be together in church for this, but at least we can join in online, and at home you can sing along!
However, we will live stream a pre-recorded D I Y Christingle service via the website at 4pm on Sunday 6th December, and it will also be available as a recorded service to watch later.
This will incorporate the lighting of the Advent Wreath candles with hymns and prayers and everyone can then make their Christingle at home.
You will need:
An orange
Some sparkly sticky tape
4 cocktail sticks
A bag of Jelly Babies
A square of silver foil
And a candle (Terri has lots of white Christingle candles available if you would like to pop into the Rectory greenhouse to collect one anytime from 1st December).
You will also need someone to light your candle safely, and to cut a cross in the top of your orange.
For the children’s advent wreath card, you will need a red, a green and a yellow crayon. There will be a pile of these cards next to the basket of candles in the Rectory greenhouse, or below to download at home.
