December 2020 update: Regretfully the 8am BCP Service has now been suspended. Therefore there are currently no services in Church, they are all on the website. We anticipate that this will last until January, but watch this space!

During the week, the Parish Church will remain closed However the Fishermen's Chapel is now open daily
between 9.30am and 3.30pm for private prayer.

We  are still live streaming a pre-recorded service at 10.30am every Sunday Morning:
please select 'streaming service' from the
drop down menu above for instructions. All welcome to join us.

An Introduction to St Brelade's Church........ In a picturesque part of the island, the Parish Church sits overlooking one of the best known beaches in Jersey. There are two church buildings here, the Parish Church, and the Fishermen's Chapel. This occupies the site of the original wooden church built by St Brelade in the 6th Century.

This website gives information about the church, and provides notice of events and services.

Welcome from the Rector:

"In the service of all with love and
hospitality”
I am pleased to welcome you to our website and hope you enjoy looking at it. St  Brelade’s is thought, by some, to  be the oldest Christian site in Jersey and the current buildings have been serving  their local community for about 1000  years. That community is very flexible as  not only do we serve a resident population of around 12,500 people, we also have  many thousands of visitors each year, who come to our services, or to walk  around the church, or simply to sit, pray and experience  the tangible presence  of God is this beautiful place.  For us the most important thing is that  everyone is welcome. Christian hospitality is central to our church’s life and  our worship, which is set within the broad Anglican tradition.
