Mission and Outreach are integral to the life of any church. Here at St Brelade, we support projects in India and the Democratic Republic of the Congo to keep our life and spirituality looking beyond our small island.

Our support is predominantly financial, as money is a resource which Jersey abounds in, and of which our partners are in despera

te need. It goes without saying that this resource goes a great deal further in Africa and India than it does here in Western Europe.

Each of our projects have the following cost implications:

1) India - £5000 per annum to support the clergy, accommodation of them and their church, and the 5 smaller congregations in the vicinity of Vishkanapatnam.

2) Congo Aids Project - cost us around £5,000 per annum to maintain medical supplies for the hospital and Aids testing equipment.

3) Congo Bible School - will cost us £25,000 to build and we are bringing Bishop Enoch and his wife to Jersey for a much needed holiday £2,500.
